Phil has been singing in churches and various ministries for more than 40 years. Having been saved at the age of 19, he devoted his life to following Christ and leading others to Him through the gift of music.

Along with singing in church choirs, Phil and his family were part of The Promise in Glen Rose, Texas for many years. Phil played several parts including Joseph, Matthew and both the Nativity and Arise Angel. In 2004 he traveled with The Promise to Seoul Korea and performed as Joseph, where they ministered to thousands of people during the week-long run.

In 2010, Phil began traveling with the East Texas-based Humble Hands Quartet with whom he sang Tenor and Lead. Phil will tell you that ministering with this group has been the highlight of his music career.

Phil and his bride Paula have been married for 32 years and have two grown children, daughter Alysa, son Robert and his wife Alyssa and their two sons Theodore and Jordan.
