| Our Third CD Well, it's been a long time coming, but we do have some songs at the studio. At this stage, we are just getting some tracks made and hopefully the rest will come in time. We are trusting God for this one, as always, and ask that you, our friends and family, be in prayer as we work to get it done and pray the funds will come also. | We're Back Well, we had the death of RAndy's mom and we needed some time to recoup, and now it's time to get back in the Lord's business. The business we love the most. Singing His praises to all that will listen. Thanks to everyone for the cards, phone calls, and most of all the prayers. We still need the prayers, so don't stop. | IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!!! I know you all thought it would never come to be, but it has. Today, we finished recording the last songs for our second CD. We will be getting the master in a couple of weeks and then it's off to the "presses". Meanwhile, we must plan for it's homecoming. We are hoping to be able to get the finished product by the first part of March. We really need some help with that from our "waiting long time" friends and loved ones. We are taking pre-orders for said CD. Just contact us or mail your information to us, with a check made out to me, Judy Melton. Our P.O. Box 1977 Midlothian, TX 76065. CD's are $16. and cassettes are $9. We will mail the CD's or cassettes to you and we will pay for postage, as a big "Thank You" for helping us out with a pre-order. We are very excited about this CD. It has some of your favorites and ours, like Beulah Land, The Lighthouse, My name is Lazarus, and 11 others that we hope you will get a blessing from. | Pray for Randy As many of you probably already know, Randy had an apendectomy last Friday night, 4-28-06, at about midnight. Everything went well, but he will be a little sore for awhile. | It's A Beginning Hey Friends, I know...We are always saying we are working on our next CD. Well, we finally got back in the studio and recorded four songs. Yea!! See, we really were working on it, but now we've done something about it. You all know how hard this is to do, so please keep us in your prayers about the funds and that we will get finished with it before 2010. HaHa Stop laughing, it's probably true. Just kidding! | Group of the Year We are still a little shocked that we won the SGMA of Texas Group of the Year award this past weekend at the convention. We feel so blessed to be in the company of so many talented groups and never dreamed that we would recieve such an honor. To be honest, I thought the only way we would be accepting an award is on behalf of Trusting Hymn, who were not able to be at the convention. Thank you to all who voted for us and to all the Southern Gospel Music fans that make what we do worth while. We hope that it is always evident that we sing to glorify God and not ourselves. We receive a blessing in knowing that we have delivered God's message in song to His children. By the way, if you missed the convention, you missed a wonderful time. I think we heard some of the best music I have ever heard at the concerts. We truly have some talented people in the SGMA of Texas. Well Friends, Here we are again, still saying we are working on our second CD. But, you know how long it takes and when God says it's time, then it's time. We have really been rehearsing some new songs for the CD. We won't record them until we have them down and feel as confortable with them as possible. God's timing is perfect, as we always say, so we are just depending on Him to get us through the process. We had a great time at the convention. We love seeing all our friends, especially the ones we only get to see at that one time of year. I want you all to know how honored we were to be nominated for group and female vocalist of the year. We were in some great company on the ballet and we were so pleased with the outcome. We did not win, but we felt like the ones who did were so deserving and you voters made good choices. It felt like a huge family at the convention. Everyone was so friendly and loving, like a family that had not seen each other in a very long time. It was great. You could just feel the love. Continue to pray for Randy's job. It is slow to get started, but I think it can be good if we can just be patient. (or maybe I should say, if I can be patient) It's hard when you have bills to pay, as you all know. Please keep us in your prayers and you will be in ours. Hello Friends, We have actually started our new CD. We are very hopeful about it. We turned the process over to God and our producer. We are just waiting now on God's timing. Pray for us that God's hand will be on this one, as it was on the first one. We want it to be pleasing to Him, but also to our friends, who are waiting, ever so patiently, on it to be finished. God will supply the studio time and the money it will take to finish it. Don't forget to mention that in your prayers. We love you all and look forward to seeing you soon. Randy has accepted a job with AFLAC insurance. It is strictly commission, so be in prayer about that, too. God is good and will provide. He has promised us that and we believe it. Hello Friends, We are busy these days. But can never be busy enough to suit us. We would like to be spreading Gods' words in song every day, if we could. But enough about that. Randy lost his job this past Friday. Please pray for us and keep your ears to the ground. He has been in customer service and sales all of his working life. Please email us if you know of anything. But most of all, pray. We know, without a doubt, that God has a plan for us. I just hope it's a quick one. We had a great time this past weekend at the 5th Birthday of Heavensound.com. We got to see some of our friends we hadn't seen in a while. We hope to see some more of you soon. Check out our schedule, if you can. We have a Great Outdoor Event at our church in DeSoto this Sat.
